Groev (Pronounced Grove) are a Galway based indie folk/pop five-piece made up of Joe Sweeney, Rory O’Regan, Jack Lennox, and brothers Evan and Keegan Forde. Formed in 2024 from late-night sessions and pints, they’ve leaned fully into what they call being a ‘drinking band with a music problem.’ Drawing on the rich traditions of Irish music while reaching further afield, Groev have carved out a sound that sits comfortably in the indie-folk world currently making waves.
