Cardineau Sin is a Boston-Montreal band mining the fertile ground of traditional bluegrass and early country. Rooted in old-time mountain music, the group blends youthful energy and the powerful mandolin-driven style of Boston-based Franco-American bandleader Jean-Baptiste (JB) Cardineau. Their sound is shaped as much by Bill Monroe and JB’s former mentor Frank Wakefield as by the band’s distilled original songwriting.
