Caoilian Sherlock has been shaping his craft since the age of fifteen, cutting his teeth in rock and roll bands before venturing into a solo path defined by sparse, folk-tinged arrangements and lyrical candor. Backed by an electric guitar, a wry sense of humour and an overly sentimental view of nearly everything, Sherlock’s sound tips its hat to John Prine and Paul Simon while nodding to modern icons like Waxahatchee and Cass McCombs. His debut album Teenage Jesus arrived in 2023, followed by a UK and Irish tour that saw him blazing through venues from West Cork to London.
