Bec O’Malley was born and raised in Manchester, England. With family roots in Ireland, he grew up hearing a mix of folk and country music at home – from Christy Moore to Johnny Cash. He began writing songs at age 12 and quickly became immersed in the Manchester music scene, playing in bands around local Irish bars. Now 22 years old Bec is ready to debut his solo project which he describes as a fusion of country, folk and pop.
